• Kafa's campaign: verbal abuse

A very striking campaign to fight against verbal violence. I love the way they use sound waves as scars to denounce that violence.

Possible exploitation: We could use the concept of representing sounds thanks to sound waves in a very specific purpose: writing a dialogue? Drawing a cartoon with sound waves? What do you think?

Well, I find the idea of sound waves used as scars interesting because it's true, we can't see the consequences of verbal violence, but it can be worse than physical violence sometimes.

I can make a link of course with the book The Fifth Child, because according to me, Ben's behaviour, his violence are the results of a kind of verbal violence, because her mother thinks and makes him understand that he's a monster.

You're quite true. We could imagine a picture of Ben with a sound wave scar representing the word "monster" or "freak".

But what about the other characters? Have you got an idea of the word(s) that could epitomize the essence of each character?
